Christopher A. Stump, Esq.
Chris is the COO and Co-founder of Saxton & Stump. He concentrates his practice in the representation of hospitals, doctors and health care professionals in all areas of health care litigation, including malpractice defense, coverage issues, licensing disputes, administrative proceedings and risk management. He actively tries cases in courts throughout Pennsylvania and has taken more than 100 cases to verdict through trial and arbitration or appeal.
Chris served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith (E.d. Va.). While in law school, he was a member of the McNeil Law Society, the Law Review and the Moot Court.
Prior to starting Saxton & Stump, Chris was a Shareholder in the Healthcare Litigation and Risk Management Group at the law firm of Stevens & Lee. He was with the firm for 17 years.
Chris is very involved with the community, having volunteered his expertise with many organizations. He is currently the Board Chair for Hospice and Community Care and was also Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign which raised over $3.8 million to build Pennsylvania’s first free-standing inpatient Hospice Care Center. Chris also serves on the Board of Trustees for Moravian Manor.
