Gayle S. Mullins, RN
Gayle brings over 35 years of nursing experience in clinical and procedural based hospital settings and home health care to Saxton & Stump. She provides safety and risk management services that promote health care best practices to physicians, hospitals and health care professionals.
Gayle most recently worked as a Clinical Nurse Leader at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), in their Digestive Disease Center, where she was responsible for all levels of inpatient and outpatient care. While at MUSC, she was member of the Peer Review Board, IMPROVE Quality Committee, Endoscopy Education Council and Charge Nurse Coordinator Committee.
Gayle spent numerous years as a Patient Care Coordinator for the Lake County Public Health Department, Division of Homecare. In this role, she managed the day-today-operations, including overseeing quality assurance and infection control matters. In addition, Gayle worked for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as a Staff Registered Nurse in the Pediatric/Adolescent Inpatient Unit and later as an Endoscopy Procedure Registered Nurse in the Digestive Disease Department.
Gayle is a member of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA). She has presented at health care conferences on a variety of clinical and risk management issues.
