Lancaster County, PA, August 30, 2017 – Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce the addition of six professionals to the firm. These new professionals come at a very exciting time as the firm continues to expand its practice areas and business development expertise.
Thomas E. Robins, Esq., of Williamsport, PA, joins Saxton & Stump’s Harrisburg office as an Associate Attorney. Thomas focuses his practice in labor and employment, construction litigation and healthcare litigation. He completed a judicial clerkship in the Family Court of the State of Delaware, serving the Honorable Alan N. Copper and the Honorable Joelle P. Hitch. Most recently, he was an associate, practicing in civil litigation, at McNerney, Page, Vanderlin & Hall in Williamsport, PA. Thomas received a B.A. with distinction, magna cum laude, from Hendrix College. He later received a J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. Thomas is a member of the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Marcus W. Shand, Esq., of Lancaster, PA, joins Saxton & Stump’s Lancaster office as an Associate Attorney. Marcus focuses his practice in labor and employment, construction litigation and healthcare litigation. He served as a legal intern for the Honorable Lawrence F. Stengel, U.S Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He later went on to serve as a certified legal intern for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office. Most recently, Marcus was Assistant District Attorney for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office. Marcus received a B.A. from Grove City College. He later received a J.D. from Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.
Paolo R. Shipman, J.D., of Easton, PA, joins Saxton & Stump’s Lancaster office as a law clerk. During law school, Paolo served as a summer clerk to the Honorable Robert “Robin” Simpson, Jr., Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. In addition, he served as a law clerk for Handler, Henning, and Rosenberg in their Harrisburg, PA office. Paolo received a B.S. from New York University. He later received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Widener University Commonwealth Law School.
Stacey L. Jordan, of Ephrata, PA, joins Saxton & Stump’s Lancaster offices as a Litigation Paralegal/Client Services Representative. Stacey most recently worked as a paralegal for Family Design Resources, a Harrisburg based company that works with agencies and professionals who support children and families throughout Pennsylvania. She received a B.S.,magna cum laude, in Crime and Justice from Albright College and an A.D., magna cum laude, in Paralegal Studies from Harrisburg Area Community College.
Allen K. Hodge, of Mount Pleasant, SC, joins Saxton & Stump as a Business Development Specialist. Allen provides sales support to Saxton & Stump’s growing platform, including its strategic partner, SE Healthcare. He brings over 10 years of experience in medical and laboratory sales, marketing, management, brand development and strategic planning to the firm. He was most recently Senior Sales Executive for Medical Diagnostics Laboratories. Earlier in his career, he worked in a management role for Pitney Bowes and RJ Reynolds. Allen graduated with a dual degree in Business Administration and Hospitality Tourism Management from the College of Charleston.
Joseph J. Day, of Columbia, PA, joins Saxton & Stump’s Lancaster office as a Business Development Specialist. Joseph brings significant marketing and communication experience to the firm, including its strategic partner, SE Healthcare, and will assist with building relationships with current and prospective clients. Joseph is a recent graduate of Temple University where he received a B.A., cum laude, in Communication Studies. During his time at Temple, Joseph gained extensive experience as a Marketing & Development Intern for the Philadelphia Bar Foundation and as a Marketing/PR Intern for Breslow Partners, a full-service public relations agency.
