King, Esq. was an invited speaker at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA®) on December 1, 2017 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. King participated in a panel with Ronald L. Eisenberg, MD, JD; Stephen D. Brown, MD; Priscilla J. Slanetz, MD, MPH; and Brent J. Wagner, MD, to present Medicolegal Issues for Radiologists: To Divulge or Not to Divulge: Diagnostic Misses and Errors.
During Ms. King’s presentation, she discussed the legal assessment of a missed diagnosis for a radiology claim and how disclosure becomes an important strategy to avoid a lawsuit. She also addressed the issue of protection for practice-level peer review activities.

The meeting included 6 days of educational programs for radiologists, radiation oncologists, physicists in medicine, radiologic technologists and allied healthcare professionals.
