Kay E. Tipton Presents Webinar for American Society for Healthcare Risk Management

Lancaster County, PA, December 7, 2017 – Saxton & Stump’s Kay E. Tipton, CPHRM was invited to present a continuing education webinar for the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) on December 7, 2017.  During her presentation, Risk Management Strategies for Deposition Preparation of a Health Care Provider, Ms. Tipton discussed strategies to assist health care providers to prepare for a deposition or trial testimony using the 4C’s.  She provided practical tips that can be used during the deposition process and reviewed the different proceedings in which providers may be asked to provide testimony.

She has extensive experience in risk reduction and prevention strategies, patient safety, and regulatory and legal issues involving the delivery of healthcare in acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics and physician practices.  In addition, she has over 18 years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal. Ms. Tipton is the 2018 President for the Pennsylvania Association for Healthcare Risk Management.  She is also a member of the ASHRM and the American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety.
