Laura K. Reuter is an attorney in the Saxton & Stump Healthcare Litigation Group. She has more than 10 years of experience litigating medical professional liability and breach of contract claims. Before joining Saxton & Stump, Laura worked at various midsize Philadelphia-area law firms, where she gained experience litigating commercial matters and advising small business owners on contract negotiations and employee matters. Throughout her career, Laura has worked with clients to prepare for trials, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations, and prevailed on motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment. Her diverse legal background gives her unique insight to strategically assist clients throughout the litigation process.
While at the West Virginia University College of Law, Laura volunteered with the West Virginia Fund for Law in the Public Interest and completed a fellowship at Legal Aid of West Virginia. Laura also completed a federal judicial externship in Philadelphia during her final semester of law school.
Before law school, Laura spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar, working as an English teaching assistant at the Macao Polytechnic Institute in Macao, China. In the program, she and her colleagues designed and implemented a year-long public speaking and English literature course, then wrote and presented a paper at a communication conference in Xinjiang, China.
