Saxton & Stump Represents Audubon Water Company in Strategic Merger with American Water Works

Saxton & Stump represented Audubon Water Company in its successful merger with American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility in the U.S. The deal closed on May 30, 2025.

Following the acquisition, Audubon will be merged into Pennsylvania American Water, a subsidiary of AWK. Audubon is one of the largest water systems in the state, regulated by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, and serves approximately 3,000 customers in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania in one of the fastest growing areas of the Commonwealth.
