Dr. Kathleen Hogan is a medical consultant and board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthroplasty at the New Hampshire Orthopaedic Center. Beginning with a fellowship in arthroplasty from Brigham & Women’s Hospital – the teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School – Dr. Hogan brings nearly two decades of surgical experience and clinical leadership to her practice.
She currently serves as chair of the Department of Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, N.H., and is an active member of multiple regional and national orthopedic organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Hogan also contributes to healthcare strategy and innovation on executive committees and as a clinical advisor.
A committed humanitarian, Dr. Hogan has participated in international surgical outreach through Women Orthopaedist Global Outreach’s Operation Walk, performing joint replacements in underserved communities across Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She has taken five trips for Operation Walk to Guyana, Guatemala, Cuba, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Tanzania.
Dr. Hogan is a graduate of Brown University School of Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree at Providence College.
