Ross Scarborough is an associate in Saxton & Stump’s Real Estate and Business Litigation and Strategic Solutions groups in the firm’s Charleston office. He supports clients in commercial, business, and corporate litigation, as well as real estate matters, including real property and real estate litigation.
Ross earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of the South. In law school, he received the Claude N. Sapp Award – given by his peers for excellence in scholarship, leadership, and work ethic – and the Sherod H. Eadon Award for trial advocacy. He also was the editor-in-chief of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal.
Before entering private practice, Ross clerked for the Hon. Sherri Lydon of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and for the Hon. D. Craig Brown, a South Carolina Circuit Court judge in Florence.
Ross previously worked as a middle school teacher in both South Carolina and Arkansas.
