Damon joins Saxton & Stump after 23 years of leadership at Design IP, a Lehigh Valley-based intellectual property firm. As Design IP’s managing partner, Damon led a team of IP professionals that represented Fortune 500 companies, closely held companies, emerging businesses, and individual inventors, earning a reputation for delivering practical, business-focused counsel.
Damon is a recognized leader in design patent law. He has successfully prosecuted hundreds of design patents in the U.S. and abroad and is an experienced design patent litigator. He has shaped design patent law and policy through amicus briefs in appeals of significant design patent cases and as a former chair of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Industrial Designs Committee. His results-driven approach and depth of experience have made him a trusted advisor to many companies on design patent issues.
Drawing on his experience and technical background, Damon can quickly and efficiently absorb complex technologies across a broad range of industries.
