Attorney Carson Morris joins panel on navigating Pennsylvania State and Federal Grand Juries

The head of Saxton & Stump’s White Collar practice, Carson Morris, Esq. will take part in a panel discussion on November 11, 2021, at 9:00 am ET for PACDL (Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers). Morris was previously Deputy Attorney General in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General’s (OAG) Appeals and Legal Services Section. In this role, he focused on grand jury litigation and regularly shepherded the OAG’s most significant investigations through the grand jury process.

The session is titled “Having a Grand Old Time: Navigating Pennsylvania State and Federal Grand Jury Practice,” and examines grand juries, specifically covering the role of secrecy in a grand jury, state and federal grand juries, witness’s rights including being notified of criminal exposure, and invoking the fifth amendment.

Abraham J. Rein, who is Principal at Post & Schell is moderating the panel discussion and is also joined by Mark B. Sheppard, a partner at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP.
