by | Dec 21, 2020 | COVID-19, Labor and Employment, Multimedia, Senior Care Services

Attorneys Rick Hackman and Steve Fleury recently presented at the Pennsylvania Health Care Association’s 2020 Virtual Convention about COVID-19-related labor and employment law issues impacting long-term and personal care facilities. In their presentation, they spoke about the recent change to the definition of a “healthcare provider” under the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act and provided guidance on handling employee requests for leave to care for a child who is learning remotely as well as employee vacations and facility-mandated quarantine requirements.

The information in this presentation is current as of the publication date listed. Because COVID-19 response measures on all fronts are continually evolving, clients should stay alert to new developments and consult with counsel on any critical questions.
