LANCASTER, Pa., February 20, 2023— Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce it has hired Adam Friscia as executive manager of business development and government relations. Friscia is a former business development executive at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry where he was responsible for relationships with top executives at businesses and industry organizations throughout the state.
“Adam’s experience collaborating with decision makers in both the private and public sector, will make him a valuable asset to our government relations team, our environmental attorneys and other targeted marketing initiatives,” Saxton & Stump CEO James W. Saxton said. “Adam has worked with executives throughout the state to build relationships both in business and government circles, and that familiarity will serve our firm and our clients well.”
Friscia earned his master’s degree in public administration from Shippensburg University, and also achieved his undergraduate degree in political science at the school. He now serves on the Shippensburg University Alumni Board of Directors. He has also earned professional certifications in Diversity & Inclusion in Education, Social Impact, Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace.
Friscia will bring his knowledge of Harrisburg to the Regulatory and Government Affairs and Environmental, Workplace Safety and Utilities Groups. Led by Kathleen Duffy Bruder, recently named one of the top 50 lobbyists in Pennsylvania, the Regulatory and Government Affairs team also includes well-known attorneys and lobbyists Andrew Reilly, Kathy Pape and Jason Benion. Friscia will support their work connecting clients with decision makers and helping to navigate the complexities of partnerships, government infrastructure and regulatory agencies. Friscia will also work hand-in-hand with the attorneys of the Environmental, Workplace Safety and Utilities Group, led by shareholders Pape and Stephen Matzura. They serve as strategic partners in planning, compliance, enforcement defense, education and training, public/private partnerships, litigation and policy advocacy. Friscia will bring his experience networking, collaborating and supporting entities throughout the region and the Commonwealth to his role.
Saxton & Stump has made significant additions in its marketing and business development teams in the last year, adding business development specialists, marketers, graphic designers and writers to help the continued strategic growth of the firm. At the start of the year, Sara Arndt was elevated to the position of Senior Director of Success and Integration to oversee the marketing and business development teams.
