LANCASTER, Pa., November 9, 2023 — Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce that shareholder Michael T. Traxler has been named co-chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group, joining shareholder Ronald H. Pollock.

Saxton said. “Mike is both an experienced litigator and a proven practice group leader. This practice will only continue to expand and provide value to our clients.”
Traxler is also the chair of the firm’s Trucking and Commercial Transportation Group and the firm’s Insurance Group. In his transportation practice, he advises motor carriers and insurance carriers to navigate the complexities involved with major accidents that occur throughout the country. He helps trucking companies, brokers, and shippers draft and negotiate transportation agreements and litigates disputes that arise out of those contracts. He is also general counsel to the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association. As chair of the insurance practice, he oversees a team of attorneys focusing on bad faith, coverage, and first-party claims involving commercial and professional lines of insurance.
Pollock is an experienced litigator with decades of experience in both state and federal court representing business owners, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and more. He is also the chair of the firm’s Construction Group. He has been named to the “Best Lawyers in America” list each year since 2021.
With more than 50 attorneys and paralegals, the Commercial Litigation Group has decades of trial experience and more than 400 jury trials combined including defending claims in front of state and federal courts. The group regularly represents business owners, corporate entities, and government agencies and works with clients on business-related claims such as contract disputes professional liability, labor and employment matters including class-action defense, mergers and acquisitions, insurance claims, intellectual property, employee benefits, and executive compensation, regulatory and governmental affairs, and environmental and workplace safety issues.
