Attorneys Rick Hackman and Steve Fleury recently presented at the Pennsylvania Health Care Association’s 2020 Virtual Convention about COVID-19-related labor and employment law issues impacting long-term and personal care facilities. In their presentation, they spoke about the recent change to the definition of a “healthcare provider” under the Families First Coronavirus Relief Act and provided guidance on handling employee requests for leave to care for a child who is learning remotely as well as employee vacations and facility-mandated quarantine requirements.
