LANCASTER, Pa., February 2, 2023 — Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce that senior counsel attorney Kimberly A. Selemba has been named the president of the Dauphin County Bar Association. The association manages numerous activities throughout the year to improve the legal profession, the administration of justice and the lives of Dauphin County’s citizens, according to its website. Selemba officially assumed the position on Feb. 1 at the DCBA’s annual meeting and her term runs one year. She formerly served as vice president and president-elect on the association’s board of directors.
“I am honored in taking this new position to help advance the legal profession in Dauphin County and throughout the entire region and state,” Selemba said. “The Dauphin County Bar Association is one of the most active in Pennsylvania, and it has proven to be a model to other county bar associations. I am looking forward to help steer the association’s direction both in the present and in the future.”
Selemba is an established liquor licensing, alcohol law and hospitality attorney, and an experienced litigator with a focus in the senior care and healthcare industries. In addition to her work with the bar association, Selemba is a former member of the board of directors at Leadership Harrisburg after having graduated from the program in 2014. City & State PA named her to its “2022 Power Law 100” list, and Pennsylvania Super Lawyers named her to its “Rising Stars” list in 2008. She is an adjunct professor at Penn State Dickinson Law, where she received her law degree. She earned her undergraduate degree at Dickinson College, where she is a member of the Dickinson College Athletics Hall of Fame for her play on the basketball court.
