CHARLESTON, S.C., July 30, 2024 — Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce that it has added J. Michael DeTreville as a shareholder attorney in its Family Law Group. DeTreville will work out of the firm’s Charleston, S.C. office. He has nearly 20 years of experience in complex, high-end family law cases involving divorce, alimony, custody, property division, parental rights, prenuptial agreements, adoption, paternity, and child support. He also is a seasoned mediator.

DeTreville graduated from the South Carolina University School of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Southeastern Environmental Journal and received the CALI Award for products liability. He also earned his undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina.
DeTreville was the former managing partner at DeTreville Law & Mediation in his hometown.
