LANCASTER, Pa., January 27, 2025 — Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce the hire of senior counsel attorney Ryan C. Givens in its Lancaster office. Givens is part of the law firm’s Business and Corporate Group, Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Information Privacy and Cybersecurity Group, and Banking and Financial Services Group. He works with businesses and corporations on all aspects of their lifecycle, from entity formation to acquisition and sale. Givens also assists with corporate governance and works with companies of all sizes – including some of central Pennsylvania’s largest and most well-known businesses – on commercial contracts, joint ventures, debt financing, day-to-day operations, and more.

Givens has nearly a decade of experience working as a private practice attorney representing businesses throughout central Pennsylvania in industries such as financial services, manufacturing, agriculture, food and beverage, and medical practices. He also served as an in-house general counsel at a financial services consulting firm in the Philadelphia area, where he managed its information security compliance programs. This experience equips him to assist his business clients with cybersecurity challenges. He also collaborates with clients through Saxton & Stump’s affiliate company, Granite GRC Consulting, which specializes in cybersecurity assessments and solutions, among other compliance services.
Givens is a Lancaster native who earned his law degree at Penn State Dickinson Law School and his undergraduate degree at Ursinus College. He is actively involved in his community, and serves as the secretary of Lancaster’s Demuth Foundation, which promotes the appreciation of the visual arts in the city and runs the Demuth Museum and the Lancaster Museum of Art. Givens is also a member of the Lancaster Catholic High School Alumni Council.
