HARRISBURG, Pa., January 12, 2026 — Saxton & Stump has added equity shareholder John A. Feichtel to its suburban Harrisburg office. With 30 years of experience advising healthcare providers and closely held businesses across Pennsylvania, Feichtel brings deep insight into the transactional, regulatory, and strategic considerations shaping growth and investment in today’s healthcare marketplace.
Feichtel is a member of the law firm’s Corporate Healthcare and Life Sciences Group, with a practice that also spans the Business and Corporate and Real Estate groups. His work is heavily focused on corporate healthcare transactions and advisory matters, representing a wide range of providers, including physician practices, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, laboratories, medical equipment providers, medical device manufacturers, surgery centers, and urgent care organizations.
“Healthcare organizations are navigating unprecedented levels of consolidation and regulatory complexity,” Saxton & Stump Chairman James W. Saxton said. “John’s experience, reputation, and strategic approach to healthcare transactions make him a powerful addition to our firm and further position us to guide clients through complex business and regulatory challenges.”
In addition to representing buyers and sellers of for-profit healthcare facilities and practices, Feichtel draws on his deep regulatory experience to help clients navigate compliance issues involving HIPAA, the Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.
Outside of healthcare, Feichtel advises businesses across industries on core corporate matters, including entity selection and formation, business acquisitions and sales, corporate governance, and succession planning. He supports clients throughout the full business life cycle, providing practical, strategic counsel aligned with long-term growth and ownership transition objectives. His practice also includes commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, financing, and sales, which often complement his corporate and healthcare work.
