Saxton & Stump adds experienced legal marketing writer Michael Sadowski and announces key promotions

LANCASTER, Pa., April 7, 2022 —Saxton & Stump has added former reporter and legal marketer Michael Sadowski to their marketing and business development team. In addition to bringing onboard a veteran writer, the firm promoted Abby (Hall) Young to business development manager and Joel Gamon to content marketing manager earlier this year. Young will oversee the team tasked with driving firm growth by collaborating with practice leaders, practice teams, as well as coaching associate attorneys’ business development efforts. The firm’s marketing team is now spearheaded by Gamon.

“We always approach marketing with an eye for results and we’re excited to welcome Mike and his track record,” said Saxton & Stump CEO James Saxton. “And we’re also happy to recognize the excellent work the teams led by Abby and Joel have achieved and look forward to seeing their continued accomplishments.”

An experienced legal marketer, Sadowski worked at a midsized, Pennsylvania-based law firm prior to joining Saxton & Stump. Before that, Sadowski was a journalist for more than 20 years covering news, sports and features, and working at newspapers in central and northeastern Pennsylvania, most recently at the Central Penn Business Journal. He is an Elizabethtown College alumnus with whose journalism career took him from reporting on the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens to covering the tourism industry in the Poconos to writing about the businesses of central Pennsylvania.

Sadowski joins a team led by Gamon, who was recently promoted to content marketing manager. In leading the firm’s core marketing team, Gamon brings significant business-to-business (B2B) professional services marketing experience having worked as a content strategist for one the largest independent financial and investment advisory firms in the U.S. and one of the largest independent full-service creative firms in the mid-Atlantic region.

Young was also recently promoted to Business Development Manager. She is an experienced legal marketer having spent nearly a decade focused on legal business development. She will lead the firm’s strategic business development and the Associate Attorney Business Development Program that is dedicated to supporting associate attorney’s professional growth at the firm. Her team recently welcomed Erik Scott, a business development strategist from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, and promoted Gabriella Vreeland to business development strategist as well. Prior to her work at the firm, Vreeland had a background in construction business development and marketing.
