HARRISBURG, Pa., September 27, 2022 — Saxton & Stump is excited to announce that City & State Pennsylvania has named shareholder Kathleen Duffy Bruder one of “The Top 50 Pennsylvania Lobbyists 2022.” The publication also recognized three team members of the Saxton & Stump Regulatory and Government Affairs Group – Jason C. Benion, Kathy L. Pape and Andrew J. Reilly – as “key employees” in Bruder’s work.
The team also includes Sarah Holloway, Amanda McClellan and Beth Gardner who each play an integral role in clients’ successes.
City & State dedicates its coverage to Pennsylvania’s state and local government, political and advocacy news.
Bruder and the team work closely with their extensive network of contacts in government to benefit their clients with legislative interests, policymaking, economic development funding needs and regulatory processes. The Saxton & Stump team works with public and private clients across the Commonwealth and connect them with decision makers to lobby and also help clients navigate the complex government infrastructure in the legislative and executive branches of government and intergovernmental challenges with federal and local governments.
The former deputy chief of staff for Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett with almost 30 years of experience as an attorney and lobbyist, Bruder served as the governor’s liaison for all state-wide management personnel positions and was the governor’s point of contact for numerous state agencies for funding programs, policy, legislative and press initiatives.
She also previously served longtime Harrisburg Mayor Stephen R. Reed as a cabinet member in the roles of deputy solicitor, labor attorney and director of human resources.
“Building the Regulatory and Government Affairs Group at Saxton & Stump has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career,” Bruder, who ranked 36th on the City & State list, said. “The members of the team have the experience with all levels of government and the contacts to make this one of the strongest groups in the state, and it’s humbling when someone outside of our group recognizes that as well.”
