LANCASTER, Pa., June 11, 2026 — Saxton & Stump is pleased to announce that Teresa C. Marino has joined the firm as a shareholder and co-chair of the Family Law group, launching an expansion of the practice into Pennsylvania. Marino, with her outstanding leadership skills, will lead the Pennsylvania family law practice and serve as co-chair alongside Rene Stuhr Dukes, who leads the firm’s established Family Law practice from its Charleston, South Carolina office. Her arrival marks the expansion of Saxton & Stump’s Family Law practice into Pennsylvania and strengthens the firm’s ability to provide sophisticated, client-focused family law counsel in both Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
With nearly 20 years of experience in and out of the courtroom, Marino advises clients throughout Pennsylvania in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution, child and spousal support, alimony, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, child custody, grandparents’ rights, and stepparent adoptions. She is particularly experienced in high-conflict and high-net-worth matters involving business ownership, stock options, and other complex assets. She also manages appellate matters for the family law practice.

Marino is known for developing legal strategies tailored to each client’s personal and financial priorities, whether through litigation, negotiated settlement, or alternative dispute resolution.
Since 2017, Marino has practiced collaborative law, helping clients pursue alternative methods of dispute resolution outside of traditional litigation. In 2022, she became certified as a mediator in family law matters, expanding the range of options available to families seeking effective and constructive resolutions.
Marino is actively involved in the community and previously served as co-president of the Collaborative Professionals of Central Pennsylvania. Her additional professional leadership roles include service with the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section, where she sits on the Section’s Council and served as a Member-at-Large of the Executive Committee. She also serves on the Dauphin County Bar Association Family Law Advisory Committee and previously chaired the Family Law Sections of both the Lancaster Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association.
Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Marino practiced family law in both large regional and smaller private practice settings, representing clients across Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Workman of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas, focusing on family law and juvenile delinquency matters.

Marino earned her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from The Catholic University of America.
