U.S. News–Best Lawyers has named Saxton & Stump a “Best Law Firm” in 14 different practice areas on its 2023 list, including seven “Tier 1” awards in the Harrisburg and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. The annual Best Law Firms list is determined by peer review of attorneys in the corresponding regions and practice areas.

In August, 18 Saxton & Stump attorneys were named to the 2023 “Best Lawyers in America” list, including four attorneys who received “Lawyer of the Year” recognition in the Harrisburg metropolitan and Philadelphia areas. That was an increase of almost 55 percent from the 11 attorneys on the 2022 list.

The firm was named the fastest growing law firm in Pennsylvania by The Legal Intelligencer, having added 53 professionals in 2021, including 22 attorneys. Overall, Saxton & Stump has grown to a team of more than 170 professionals, including 90 attorneys. The firm has added new services and established groups dedicated to franchising licensing and distribution, investigations and criminal defense and environmental, workplace safety and utilities. In addition to bolstering their infrastructure, they have also grown key existing practice areas such as healthcare, senior care, real estate, government affairs and trusts and estates.
