LANCASTER, Pa., September 6, 2023 — Saxton & Stump has announced a new office on North Third Street in downtown Harrisburg, directly across the street from the Pennsylvania State Capitol. Opening the firm’s newest location is a strategic move to continue even more comprehensive service to clients, specifically those who rely on the firm’s Regulatory and Government Affairs team. Attorneys and registered lobbyists Kathleen Duffy Bruder and Kathy L. Pape will be joined by attorney Sarah P. Moreland and registered lobbyist Brett J. Biggica, as well as government relations professionals Amanda W. McClellan, Adam A. Friscia and Bethany R. Gardner.
“As a firm, we are always committed to investing in our level of service for clients to create value above and beyond their expectations,” said Saxton & Stump CEO James Saxton. “This office will be an excellent tool for our government affairs and regulatory affairs team to continue doing just that.”
The firm’s new Harrisburg location represents a strategic expansion of the firm’s footprint in Pennsylvania’s capital. Saxton & Stump will continue to grow both the Crums Mill Road and downtown locations as needed to serve client needs and achieve its strategic objectives. The Crums Mill Road office recently underwent major expansion last year and will remain one of the firm’s largest locations. The downtown location is valuable to the firm as a whole, allowing the firm to represent clients throughout the state to decision makers at all levels, but particularly at the Capitol and the many governmental offices in the city.
“Our team has always focused on delivering results and finding solutions for our clients, whether that means virtual meetings, traveling throughout the state or hitting the pavement to get in front of decision makers,” Bruder said. “Now that will mean heading across the street, adding to our ability to stay in front of developing matters.”
The Regulatory and Government Affairs team, led by Kathleen Duffy Bruder, have recently gained notice in the press. They were recognized by City & State Pennsylvania as among the top 50 lobbyists in the state. Bruder was named to Central Penn Business Journal’s Power List for Lobbying and was recognized in the same publication’s Women of Influence list. They welcomed telecommunications lobbyist Brett Biggica to their team earlier this year and will continue to provide strategic advice, representation, lobbying and public partnership services to clients in the public and private sectors.
