CHARLESTON, S.C., April 15, 2026 — South Carolina Lawyers Weekly has named Saxton & Stump shareholder Cherie W. Blackburn to its 2026 “Employment Law Power List,” recognizing her decades of leadership helping employers and human resources professionals navigate complex workplace laws and compliance challenges.

With more than 35 years of experience, Blackburn advises employers on the full spectrum of labor and employment matters. She represents businesses in litigation and works proactively with clients to reduce risk through workplace training, policy and handbook development, wage-and-hour compliance guidance, and the drafting of employment agreements and restrictive covenants. Her work helps organizations operate confidently while steering them through the evolving regulatory landscape.

Blackburn earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law, her B.A. from Emory University, and an associate’s degree from Oxford College.
