LANCASTER, Pa., May 9, 2023 — The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has named Saxton & Stump attorney Lance D. Greene a member of the District II Hearing Committee. Committee members are volunteers in their districts to conduct hearings and act as a formal reviewing body to determine if a case should proceed to an official hearing in front of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. There are approximately 150 hearing committee members in the state’s four districts, and District II covers most of Southeast Pennsylvania, including Lancaster County and the Lehigh Valley (but not Philadelphia County).
Each committee member is appointed for three years and can be reappointed for an additional three-year term. Greene’s term starts July 1.
Greene is a member of the Saxton & Stump Investigations and Criminal Defense, Commercial Litigation, Litigation, Education and Trucking and Commercial Transportation groups. He focuses his practice on counseling and representing businesses and individuals facing civil and criminal investigations. He also handles a range of commercial litigation matters, represents physicians and hospitals on healthcare litigation, and assists in investigations and representation of truck drivers facing criminal and civil investigations. Attorney-ranking group “Best Lawyers” recently named him to its “Ones to Watch” list in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants. Greene also is a member of the board of directors of ASSETS, which works to create economic opportunity and cultivates entrepreneurial leadership to alleviate poverty and build vibrant, sustainable communities in Lancaster. In addition, Greene also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Lancaster Law Foundation, which promotes equal access to justice through philanthropy, education, and service.
Greene is a former assistant district attorney and during his tenure served as the Chief of the Juvenile Division in Lancaster County, and he is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Massachusetts.
