Saxton & Stump’s Ronald H. Pollock to Present at Construction Financial Management Association Meeting

Lancaster County, PA, February 9, 2018 – Saxton & Stump’s Ronald H. Pollock, Esq., Shareholder and Chair of Saxton & Stump’s Construction Law Practice Group, will present Limit, Protect, Insure and Resolve: Learn the Legal Tools to Manage Risk in Construction Contracts at the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), Central Pennsylvania Chapter meeting at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Lancaster, PA on February 13, 2018.

In his presentation, Attorney Pollock will discuss how to use construction contracts to control risk and will provide techniques to guide professionals through the contract process. This will include indemnity, insurance, alternative dispute resolution, and identifying and proactively structuring potentially problematic contract terms. Attendees will receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for their participation.

Ron Pollock has over 29 years of experience in construction litigation, in the area of indemnification and bid challenges, and assists in reviewing contracts and agreements to help clients avoid potential lawsuits as a form of risk management. He also has significant experience in insurance and medical device litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR).  Ron speaks frequently with industry leaders and writes articles on construction contract preparation, interpretation and administration.  He is a member of the Association of Builders and Contractors – Keystone Chapter, Building Industry Association of Lancaster County, and Independent Electrical Contractors.  Ron earned his J.D from The Dickinson School of Law, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. He has received numerous honors, including being chosen as a Select Lawyer in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law and General Civil Litigations.
