Lancaster County, PA, January 25, 2018 – Saxton & Stump’s Ronald H. Pollock, Esq. received his American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) Healthcare Construction Certificate after completion of the ASHE Healthcare Construction Workshop on January 23-24, 2018. The workshop helped to expand Attorney Pollock’s knowledge of the healthcare construction industry and provided new skills and trends that will benefit Saxton & Stump’s Construction Law Group, where he serves as Chair.
The two day workshop, hosted by Keystone Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors, provided education on critical topics in healthcare construction, including the healthcare planning, design, and construction process, latest compliance issues in healthcare construction, project expectations, construction risk assessment, and communication.
Ron Pollock has over 29 years of experience in construction litigation, in the area of indemnification and bid challenges, and assists in reviewing contracts and agreements to help clients avoid potential lawsuits as a form of risk management. He also has significant experience in insurance and medical device litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Ron speaks frequently with industry leaders and writes articles on construction contract preparation, interpretation, and administration. He is a member of the Keystone Chapter Association of Builders and Contractors, Building Industry Association of Lancaster County, and Independent Electrical Contractors. Ron earned his J.D from The Dickinson School of Law, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. He has received numerous honors, including being chosen as a Select Lawyer in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law and General Civil Litigations.
