LANCASTER, Pa., September 29, 2021 — Saxton & Stump is strengthening the resources available to its clients by adding both attorneys and key business professionals. With the latest hires, the firm has added 14 attorneys this year, including some of the foremost attorneys in regulatory and government affairs, white collar defense and real estate. With 124 professionals, including 67 attorneys, the firm continues to grow and is expanding their office space in the Malvern and Harrisburg locations. Saxton & Stump also recently announced their first out-of-state office in Charleston, SC. The firm has also added team members to their Information Technology, Concierge Services and Finance teams to support its strategic growth trajectory.

New additions to Healthcare Litigation and Mitigation, Commercial Litigation, Trusts and Estates and Intellectual Property teams
Jennifer A. Galloway, Esq. joined Saxton & Stump’s Trusts and Estates team this month and focuses her practice on counseling her clients and their families, as well as business owners and professional advisors, to create plans that ensure a smooth and optimal transition of assets to future generations. She also handles elder law, Orphans’ Court litigation and corporate matters such as business entity formation. Before joining Saxton & Stump, she was a founding partner at a family and business law firm where she advised on a wide variety of domestic, business and estate related matters. She also frequently represented her clients at hearings, oral arguments and full trials when necessary. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a dual B.A. in political science and criminal justice. She earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law.
Rachel E. Gerber, Esq. joins the Healthcare Litigation and Mitigation and Quality Assurance and Peer Review teams. She was most recently a term clerk for Hon. Judge Renée Cohn Jubelirer of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. She has previously served as a law clerk for a leading business processing firm specializing in healthcare claims. She also completed a pair of legal internships at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission Law Bureau and Select Medical Corporation. She has also served as a research assistant at University of Pittsburgh School of Health where she researched and wrote sections of the Louisiana Public Health Benchbook. Gerber earned her J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was also an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy. She received a B.A. in political science from Susquehanna University.
Abigail Z. Wenger, Esq. will also join the Healthcare Litigation and Mitigation team, as well as the Senior Care Services team. She previously clerked for Hon. Leonard G. Brown and Hon. David R. Workman at the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas. Prior to that, she served as an apprentice at a Lancaster-based law firm. Wenger is a graduate of Regent University School of Law where she earned her J.D. and her B.A. in government. While at Regent University, she was an active member of the Moot Court board where she won national and regional competitions. She was also a staff editor of the Regent Law Review and the president of the Regent University chapter of the pre-law honors fraternity Phi Alpha Delta.
Deborah A. Tamny, Pa.C.P. has over 30 years assisting in all facets of litigation, specifically supporting general litigation, medical malpractice, product liability and workers’ compensation. She will support the Commercial Litigation and Healthcare Litigation and Mitigation teams. She has spent the last decade supporting senior partners in all phases of personal injury and workers compensation cases including preparing for trial, obtaining and reviewing medical records, drafting correspondence and interfacing with clients, medical practitioners, insurance adjusters and legal professionals. Tamny is a Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal, and a member of the Lancaster Area Paralegal Association, Central Pennsylvania Paralegal Association and National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
Kerri J. Smith will support the Intellectual Property team. She brings more than 20 years of paralegal and legal assistant experience to Saxton & Stump’s Intellectual Property group. She has extensive experience handling U.S. and Foreign Patent Applications and will assist the firm’s attorneys. Smith will handle domestic and foreign client relationships, preparing prosecution documents for filing with the U.S. Patent Office, and overseeing paperwork for inventors and applicants to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Smith earned an associate degree from Harrisburg Area Community College.
IT and Accounting teams boost operational support, allowing attorneys to focus on clients
Vidal Lupian is the Manager of Information Technology. Lupian previously served as both an in-house technician and as a system administrator responsible for delivering IT services to clients for an IT solutions company. He has also worked as a network administrator for a security solutions company. He focuses on strategically enhancing the firm’s productivity through technology. His team furthers Saxton & Stump’s commitment to five-star service by providing the firm’s attorneys and business professionals with critical tools they need to collaborate and serve clients efficiently and effectively. He earned his B.S. in information technology in network management from Colorado Technical University.
Cameron Powell will serve as the first point of contact for service desk support as an information technology specialist. A trained customer service professional, Powell previously worked at an IT help desk for a large educational institution. He has also served as a customer service representative at a major national retailer where he also provided technical assistance, computer repair and professional printing services. Powell earned a B.A. in criminology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Sharra B. Cauler, also a graduate of Millersville University, joins the firm’s accounting team. Cauler previously processed payroll for a business accounting firm and was responsible for the payroll processing for over 70 clients. She has also served as a cost analyst for a major regional hospital, creating monthly and quarterly reports and maintaining payroll, general ledger and patient data within a decision support software system. She has earned her B.S. in business administration.
Anthony M. Cutillo will also support to the firm’s accounting team. Cutillo has served in both customer service and technical support roles and brings his analytical and client-centric approach to problem solving and handling requests. He has a B.S. from Kutztown University in business administration.
Mandy L. Askew joins the concierge services team in Harrisburg, where she will provide the firm’s signature five-star support to both attorneys and clients. Askew is an experienced legal administrative professional and has served as a judicial assistant to the Hon. Joseph Kiefer, the Hon. Julie Mata and the Hon. Mark Brain while at the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona.
