LANCASTER, Pa., September 24, 2021 — Jennifer A. Galloway, Esq. has joined Saxton & Stump’s Trusts and Estates team. The team, led by Scott Alan Mitchell, Esq., provides clients with a comprehensive set of legal services related to the creation and administration of personal and family estates, trusts and tax planning, business succession planning, asset protection planning and fiduciary litigation.

Galloway has practiced trusts and estates law in central Pennsylvania for more than a decade, serving clients with a range of business and family law matters. Before joining Saxton & Stump, she was a founding partner at the law firm Kearney Galloway Graybill, LLC where she advised on a wide variety of domestic, business and estate related matters, handling wills, trusts, living wills and power of attorney documents, estate administration including federal taxable estates, Orphans’ Court litigation matters and elder law (Medicaid) planning.
An experienced litigator, she also frequently represents her clients at hearings, oral arguments and full trials when necessary. Prior to that, she served as an associate attorney advising and representing clients in estate planning, estate administration and orphans court litigation. Galloway clerked for the Hon. Joy Flowers Conti, U.S. District Court for the Western District of PA. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College with a dual B.A. in political science and criminal justice. She earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law.
Building a trusts and estates team to help clients plan for the future
Chaired by Mitchell, Saxton & Stump’s Trusts and Estates team works with clients and their families, business owners and professional advisors to develop customized estate plans to ensure a smooth and optimal transition of assets to future generations. He has been in practice for over 22 years and serves individuals, families and business owners and has a unique focus in special needs trusts and guardianships.
She will be working on a team including paralegals M. Yvonne Crouse and Holly A. English. Crouse has been a fiduciary for over 30 years and is highly skilled in all facets of trust and estate administration and has substantial experience in Orphans’ Court litigation. English also has experience in estate planning, Orphans’ Court litigation and estate administration throughout her legal career.
With the addition of Galloway, the team is capable of creating asset protection strategies and a broad variety of simple and sophisticated trusts. They bring a depth of experience in working with families of individuals with special needs elders, and individuals requiring long-term care. In addition to personal estate planning, Saxton & Stump serves as counsel to executors, trustees, corporate fiduciaries and beneficiaries in all aspects of trust and estate administration. If necessary, the team is also prepared to represent the client’s interests throughout the litigation process.
