Aaron Scheibelhut is an associate at Saxton & Stump and a member of the firm’s Construction, Franchise Litigation, and Business Litigation and Strategic Solutions Groups. He focuses on helping businesses navigate a wide range of commercial matters, with particular emphasis and experience in the construction and franchising industries.
In his construction practice, Aaron provides strategic counsel to contractors, developers, suppliers, and design professionals on contract negotiation, risk management, and regulatory compliance, helping clients proactively sidestep disputes and avoid costly pitfalls. When disputes do arise, he has the experience to successfully represent clients in complex construction litigation involving payment disputes, construction and design defects, project delays, surety claims, mechanics’ liens, insurance coverage, and indemnification issues.
As a member of the Franchise Litigation Group, Aaron advocates for national and international franchisors and franchisees in a variety of high stakes matters, including contract advising, public relations, settlement negotiations, regulatory compliance, arbitration, and litigation. He brings a practical and business-minded approach to franchise disputes, grounded in a thorough understanding of franchising dynamics.
Aaron facilitates favorable resolutions both inside and outside the courtroom. As a mediator for the Lancaster County Association of Realtors, he helps parties resolve real estate transaction disputes with efficiency and fairness.

Before joining Saxton & Stump, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas R. Campbell in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas, gaining invaluable perspectives on judicial processes, judicial decision-making, and courtroom dynamics.
At Widener Commonwealth Law School, Aaron served as the Internal Supervising Editor on the Executive Board of the Widener Commonwealth Law Review. He also earned the school’s prestigious President’s Award, recognizing his outstanding scholastic achievement and potential for significant contributions to the legal profession. As an undergraduate at Pennsylvania State University, Aaron was a charter member of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society and graduated at the top of his major, receiving the Outstanding Political Science Senior Award.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys quality time with his wife and two sons, playing and watching sports, cooking, camping, and mountain biking.
