Abigail practices in the firm’s Title IX, Education, Appellate and Post-Trial Advocacy, and Commercial Litigation groups. She has experience handling issues and investigations arising under the school code and Title IX. Abigail also assists the Hon. Lawrence F. Stengel (Ret.) with special master assignments, Title IX appeals, investigations, and complex civil litigation. Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, she practiced education law and family law at another firm in downtown Lancaster PA. Abigail uses her experience to further assist clients in family matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and more.
Abigail earned her undergraduate degrees from Valparaiso University, where she was a sprinter on the Division I track and field team and a member of the university’s Student Athletic Advisory Council, Student Senate, and University Council. Abigail then went on to earn her J.D. from Penn State Law. While at Penn State Law in University Park, Abigail was a senior editor of the Penn State Law Arbitration Law Review, a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, and a certified legal intern for the Penn State Law Family Law Clinic.
Abigail is an active member of the Lancaster community and has served in several leadership roles. She is the current chair of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Lancaster Bar Association, member of the Lancaster Bar Association Board of Directors, the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division Liaison to the Appellate Advocacy Committee, a board member of the Hands-on House Children’s Museum of Lancaster, and an advisor for Conestoga Valley High School’s Mock Trial team.
