Alec is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Litigation and Mitigation Group, working with healthcare systems, hospitals and physicians. He works with a team of attorneys, medical professionals and consultants with decades of medical experience to defend medical malpractice claims and help clients prevent them before they happen.
Alec is a graduate of Penn State Dickinson Law, where he was an articles editor for the Dickinson Law Review. During his time at law school, he worked for the Hon. William Tully of the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas, the Civil Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania and the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office outside of Philadelphia. During his work in law school, he wrote court opinions and federal court briefs, helped attorneys with trial and deposition preparation, investigated misconduct complaints against judges and reviewed evidence to identify legal issues.
Before attending law school, Alec worked for Project U.S.E. in New Jersey, where he led wilderness expeditions and experimental education programs for children and adults. He also worked with a nonprofit in New York’s Hudson Valley managing the behavior of adjudicated youth at a temporary detention facility.
