Bethany is a member of the Saxton & Stump Regulatory and Government Affairs Group, bringing more than 35 years of government and nonprofit experience to her position. She assists clients and members of our Regulatory and Government Affairs Group with a range of administrative tasks that enable our team to execute government affairs strategies. She has experience managing government offices, directing grant programs and managing human resources departments.

She spent more than five years as the director of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s Bureau of Alcohol Education, managing a 25-person staff and a $5 million budget in four offices around the state. She oversaw the awarding of more than $1 million annually, developed reports on the dangers of underage and high-risk drinking, directed the office’s programs. That led to her work as the chief administrative officer for the National Alliance for Model State Drug Laws in Harrisburg, where she managed the finances for the organization. She also started a strategic plan for the organization, which works to increase the impact of state laws, policies and protocols to reduce substance use disorders in families and communities.
