Brett H. Tennis, CPA provides strategic leadership to Saxton & Stump’s affiliates and partners, directing the growth and development of each enterprise. He serves as a strategic advisor to the firm’s attorneys and consultants on best practices for business development. Brett identifies opportunities, oversees the completion of critical projects and ensures each initiative provides a differentiating level of service to clients.

Throughout his career, Brett has collaborated with businesses to strategize and has recommended solutions that provide growth and prosperity. He has decades of experience as a principal with Walz Group, an established accounting firm, where he served as president for 12 years. During that time, he provided business and financial services to the live entertainment, construction, manufacturing, professional services and non-profit industries. His vision led to a significant investment in the firm’s infrastructure over the years including technology, facilities and staffing, which has driven continual business growth over the past decade. He most recently led the firm’s quality assurance and business development teams.

In the community, Brett serves as a board member for the Lititz Regional Community Development Corporation where he also previously served as treasurer. He recently served as team captain for Recovery Lancaster Team 1 Business funding. In this role, he led a team of civic leaders and professionals to develop the grant program which ultimately issued over $40,000,000 of grants to Lancaster County Businesses during the pandemic. He is also the Committee Chair for the Pennsylvania Dutch Council Boy Scouts of America’s Annual Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner.
