Carol Verish Houck, Esq. represents clients in transactional matters in the areas of real estate, business, corporate and tax law and banking and financial services. Focusing primarily on real estate, Carol represents buyers and sellers in commercial real estate deals, prepares and negotiates leases, drafts planned community and condominium documents and assists with related matters. She is a licensed title agent with experience in closing commercial and residential transactions.

Carol also works with the firm’s Business, Corporate and Tax and Banking and Financial services groups. She has represented large and small businesses in both simple and complex matters requiring detailed analysis and innovative solutions. She represents large and small businesses in all aspects of corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases and sales and negotiation and execution of various types of contracts. Carol is also able to negotiate financing, structure financing documents, negotiate workouts and assist with debt restructuring and collections.

Her experience in real estate matters includes serving as the principal title agent and manager for an independent title agency. Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Carol worked for two PA-based law firms with an emphasis in business and real estate law. Earlier in her career, she was an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in San Antonio, TX where she was a business advisor and real estate transaction analyst to the Secretary of the Air Force Office of General Counsel for Installations and Environment and various Air Force clients. Carol began her career as a judicial law clerk at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
