Curtis Mason Myers (Mason) is an associate for the firm’s Healthcare Litigation and Commercial groups, defending health care systems, hospitals and physicians against malpractice claims. Before becoming an associate, Mason joined Saxton & Stump as a law clerk, providing law support for attorneys such as drafting and editing legal documentation, researching and managing cases, preparing medical records and aiding in case correspondence. Prior to joining the firm, Mason served as a summer judicial intern for the Hon. Kevin M. Dougherty in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in Philadelphia where he focused on assisting in the drafting and editing process of reports on petitions for allowance of appeal. Before that, he worked at the Pennsylvania Superior Court in Philadelphia and served as a summer judicial extern for the Hon. Daniel D. McCaffery. Before his judicial externship, he aided a civil litigation, employment and real estate practice groups at a large law firm located in Baltimore. Mason first started his career at Lancaster General Health where he assisted in research for the Anne B. Barshinger Cancer Institute.
Mason was a senior editor for the Journal of Law, Technology & the Internet at his alma mater, Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He also worked as a teaching assistant where he helped Chinese international students in simulated international commercial arbitration. For his undergraduate degree, he graduated early, earning his B.A. in psychology from John Hopkins University in 2017.
