Devin Uqdah, Esq. is an attorney and former accountant who assists clients in tax, business, corporate and tax law at Saxton & Stump. After he earned his law degree from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, Devin worked as an attorney in Washington, D.C. There he reviewed entity tax returns after transactions, determined business valuations for mergers and acquisitions, prepared wills and trusts documents, provided tax advice on real estate transactions and drafted partnership and corporation agreements. Devin also represented clients in audits and tax appeals conducted by the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities and facilitated agreements with the IRS and other taxing authorities for his clients.

While attaining his law degree, Devin worked as an international tax consultant, assisting clients by reviewing planned operations for multinational companies and nonprofits, as well as international restructuring plans for international tax compliance. As an associate attorney, Devin also has worked with clients both domestically and internationally, assisting businesses on complex tax issues. He also reviewed partnership, s-corporation and corporation tax returns, communicated with the IRS in settling tax disputes for clients and prepared tax returns for trusts and estates.

In addition to his work as an attorney and accountant, Devin has worked in the public sector utilizing his law experience to advise the City of Philadelphia on compliance, government contracting and reviewed intergovernmental agreements and contracts.

Outside of the office, Devin is a champion for his community. He is a board member of the Universal Muslim Business Association, member of the National Association of Black Accountants and a member of the Barrister’s Association.
