Ian Wood is the Director of Applied AI at Saxton & Stump, where he leads the firm’s enterprise artificial intelligence strategy. He works closely with attorneys and business professionals to enable the secure, practical, and business-aligned adoption of emerging technologies.

Based in the Malvern office, Ian designs, governs, and scales AI initiatives across the firm and its affiliates. His work focuses on enterprise technology integration, AI governance, ethical and regulatory compliance, cybersecurity alignment, risk management, and operational modernization. He ensures that AI deployment drives measurable business outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of professional responsibility and client confidentiality.

Operating at the intersection of legal services, business operations, and technology, Ian partners with firm leadership to advance responsible, high-value AI-enabled solutions. His portfolio includes enterprise modernization initiatives, AI-driven workflow transformation, and structured project and portfolio management programs that enhance client service delivery and overall firm performance.

Ian brings extensive experience advising large law firms and professional services organizations. He has implemented and governed AI platforms, built and scaled project management offices, and led complex cross-functional transformation initiatives within highly regulated legal environments. His work consistently centers on disciplined execution, risk-aware innovation, and sustainable value creation.

Ian earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University, University Park. He also holds advanced credentials in AI product management, portfolio management, program management, data management, and project management, and has a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
