Jared Becker is an associate in the Saxton & Stump Healthcare Litigation Group. He simultaneously studied for and earned his MBA and his law degree at Widener University, receiving both in late 2021. While at Widener University Delaware Law School, he served as president of the Food and Drug Law Association, was a member of the Transactional Law Honor Society, and was a member of the Law Review. After he received his undergraduate degree at Widener, he was named to the Widener University Board of Trustees as the board’s student trustee, where he represented the school’s 6,500 students on three campuses.

After school, he moved into an associate position at a Philadelphia law firm where he assisted in trial preparation, reviewed medical documents and conducted legal research. He also drafted settlement memoranda, motions for summary judgment, supplemental briefs, preliminary objections and more.

He also served as an intern in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where he worked with attorneys on trial preparation, conducted legal research, and drafted memoranda on various issues.

Throughout his time in college, he was a Cadet in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. He commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer in 2018. From May 2018 to May 2022, he was a Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer at Fort Dix in New Jersey. From May 2022 to September 2022, he served in Stuttgart, Germany, as a first lieutenant providing support as part of HQ EUCOM J23 current operations during the Russia-Ukraine Crisis. He also completed the Military Intelligence Basic Officer Leadership Course and the Cultural Understanding and Leadership Program in Slovakia.
