Jeffrey Litts is the chair of the firm’s Education Group and a member of the Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment groups. Jeff counsels and defends public school entities in the areas of civil rights, charter schools, collective bargaining, employee and student discipline, policy development, construction and other education law issues.

He regularly represents both public and private sector clients before state and federal courts, arbitrators and administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board and the Pennsylvania Department of Education Charter School Appeal Board.

Before moving into private practice, Jeff was the deputy chief counsel for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association and an attorney in the Bucks County Public Defender’s Office. He was the editor of the Pennsylvania School Law Handbook for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association in 2001, and a contributing editor for the 2006, 2012 and 2018 editions.
