Jessica is a shareholder in the firm’s Family Law and Labor and Employment practice groups. She’s built her practice in the Charleston area and all of South Carolina involving complex and high-end family law matters. Jessica works with clients in divorce and high-net-worth divorce, child custody and visitation, termination of parental rights and adoption, child support, alimony and property division, and equitable distribution of marital property and division of assets, and valuation of business interests, among other matters. She also is a certified family court mediator, civil court mediator and arbitrator who can work with families to help resolve their case before it enters a courtroom.
Before Jessica went to law school, she worked as a human resources professional after receiving her master’s degree in human resource development from Clemon University. Her experience in human resources has helped shape her labor and employment practice, adding practical, real-world familiarity to complement her legal experience.
In addition to her private practice work, Jessica also stayed at Charleston School of Law after she received her law degree as an adjunct professor in legal research and writing.
An avid Clemson Tigers fan, Jessica spends most Saturdays in the fall cheering on her team, but also enjoys travel and spending time on or near the water.
