Katy S. Landis, Esq. is a civil and commercial attorney focusing her practice on the construction and insurance industries. As part of her practice, Katy advises owners, contractors and subcontractors on risk mitigation and drafts, reviews and revises construction contracts, subcontracts, releases and waivers. She also litigates insurance claims arising from construction-related disputes.
Katy also assists the White Collar Defense and Internal Investigations practice groups. She has experience conducting internal investigations on behalf of corporate clients related to allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment. She also has represented clients under investigation for violations of the False Claims Act.
Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Katy was an assistant public defender in York County where she represented clients charged with crimes ranging from traffic infractions to serious felonies. She began her legal career clerking for the Honorable Richard K. Renn of the York County Court of Common Pleas.
