Kristen R. McGuire is a senior counsel attorney in the Saxton & Stump Trusts and Estates Group in the firm’s York office, assisting clients with estate planning, estate administration, elder law, and fiduciary planning. She prepares estate planning documents including wills, durable powers of attorney, trusts, as well as healthcare powers of attorney and living wills.

Kristen came to Saxton & Stump in 2025 with other professionals from the former York County law firm Stock & Leader.

Since 2023, Kristen has served as the coordinator of York County’s Wills for Heroes initiative, a program designed to provide first responders and veterans with fully executed estate planning documents, free of charge. In 2024, both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the York County Bar Association recognized her for her pro bono work, including the Wills for Heroes initiative.

Elsewhere in the community, Kristen serves as chair for the Turning Point Counseling and Advocacy Center, and she is on the board of directors for the Margaret E. Moul Home, and the York County Bar Association.

The Erie native graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 and went on to receive her law degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2017.
