Laura Patat is a paralegal in Saxton & Stump’s Business Litigation and Strategic Solutions Group, based in the firm’s Charleston office. With more than a decade of legal experience, she plays a critical role in helping attorneys deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for clients navigating complex disputes.
Laura supports matters from inception through resolution, managing document preparation, coordinating state and federal court filings, tracking subpoenas, and helping maintain organized, deadline-driven case workflows. Her detail-oriented and proactive approach ensures that matters progress smoothly and that clients receive timely, responsive service.
Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Laura spent eight years with the Charleston office of AmLaw 200 firm Maynard Nexsen, where she served as office coordinator and legal assistant, gaining valuable experience in fast-paced litigation environments. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
