Louis G. Fiorilla is a commercial litigator with significant experience representing financial and internet services companies in consumer lawsuits alleging breach of contract, negligence, fraud and other intentional torts. He litigates the enforceability of online services term and account agreements, including arbitration clauses and liability limitations. He also frequently litigates real estate and commercial lease disputes.

Lou defends financial services companies in consumer protection actions, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state law analogs. In addition to Lou’s litigation practice, he provides strategic analysis of companies’ compliance with consumer protection statutes.

Lou leads the Banking and Financial Services group and is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Real Estate and Business, Corporate and Tax groups.

Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Lou was a partner at an AmLaw 200 firm in Atlanta, Georgia. As a law student, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. George A. Pagano at the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.
