Dr. Sabreena Slavin is a medical consultant, an accomplished vascular neurologist, and an Associate Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. 

She specializes in inpatient neurology and vascular neurology, providing care through both in-person and telemedicine platforms across Kansas and the surrounding region. Since joining the faculty at the University of Kansas in 2017, Dr. Slavin has become a prominent figure in stroke care and research, effectively combining her clinical expertise with a strong academic and investigative portfolio. She mentors fellows, residents, and medical students while also leading an active clinical research program focused on stroke outcomes, treatment modalities, and disparities in care.

Dr. Slavin is board-certified in both Neurology and Vascular Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed her Vascular Neurology Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and her Neurology Residency at Rush University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University.
