Thomas M. Shorb is a shareholder in the Trusts & Estates Group, working with clients on wills, trusts, estate planning, and estate administration. Tom founded and was the first chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Law Section of the York County Bar Association and continues as a member of that group.
Tom came to Saxton & Stump in 2025. He joined the firm with other attorneys and professionals of longtime York County law firm Stock & Leader, where he was chair of the firm’s Estate Practice Group.
Tom was inducted into the inaugural 2012 York County Community Foundation Professional Advisor Recognition Society for his efforts in promoting charitable giving through endowment with the Foundation. He is the current chair of the Margaret E. Moul Foundation Board of Directors and former chair and current member of the SpiriTrust Lutheran Foundation Board of Trustees. Tom received his law degree from Delaware Law School and his undergraduate degree at Villanova University.
As a passionate contributor to his community, the Rotary Club of York gave Tom its “Service Above Self Award,” in 2006. The annual award is for those who have made significant contributions to the York community. He was also recognized for his long-standing service to the Leave A Legacy™ program and Junior Achievement of South Central PA.
