Barbara A. Seddon

Accounting Manager

Barbara A. Seddon serves as an Accountant at Saxton & Stump. In this role, she assists the firm’s attorneys and financial department by generating monthly drafts and final bills for attorney review. She also maintains guidelines on client information, attorney preferences and bill formatting.

Barbara assists the financial department by compiling financial information to prepare entries to accounts, including general ledger accounts and documentation of business transactions. She also submits e-bills and ensures successful transmission of these documents. She helps to review and reconcile the firm’s books and records to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Barbara served in various accounting and business management roles in the public-school system.  During this time, she was responsible for local, state, and federal reporting; maintaining the school’s books and other financial records; preparing the budget; and managing the accounts receivable, accounts payable, property tax, and child accounting functions.

Barbara earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Millersville University. While at Millersville, she served as an Intern in the financial accounting office and as a temporary Staff Accountant.
