Morgan S. Hays, Esq. is a dynamic litigator who focuses her practice in healthcare and commercial litigation. In her healthcare practice, she represents doctors, hospitals, and healthcare providers in medical professional liability cases. Morgan utilizes her litigation experience to represent business owners, corporate entities, and government agencies in her commercial litigation practice.
Most recently, Morgan was an associate at a regional law firm where she focused her practice on all aspects of state and federal employment law. She represented employers and insurance carriers before the Commonwealth’s Department of Labor and Industry in workers’ compensation and unemployment matters. She prepared pleadings for contract, personal injury, and employment-related litigation.
Morgan also served as a litigation intern with one of the largest providers of post-secondary education in North America, as a law clerk at a firm focusing on attorney mortgage closing services and document preparation, and as a legal intern at a law office in DuBois, PA.
Morgan graduated magna cum laude, from Thiel College with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. During her undergraduate career, she was the President of Pi Sigma Alpha, a political science honor society; President of Students for Civic Participation; a member of the Delta Zeta Kappa Xi Chapter; and a member of Psi Chi, a psychology honor society. Morgan also served as the Assistant to the Political Science Department and worked as a peer tutor throughout her academic career at Thiel. Morgan earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. While obtaining her law degree, Morgan was a member of the Family Law Society and Phi Alpha Delta, as well as a regular contributor to the Duquesne Law Legal blog, JURIS.
